Composites
Composites: layup hours, material, and the job
A composite job is material kits plus layup and cure hours. The quote freezes both. The job then uses a second kit for a repair and hours the standard never had.
The cure is done before finance sees the extra kit.
What the open job has to show
- Kits issued to the job, including a repair kit.
- Layup and finish hours while the job is open.
- Scrap and a rejected part on that job, not in a monthly scrap tub.
That is the same kind of gap as seeing the work while it is still open and quoting from a current cost.
The week the record is late
A part fails inspection after cure. The replacement kit is pulled. The job record still shows one kit and the original hours. The customer’s price was the original.
Put the second kit on the job before the part ships. MFGMAX Furniture holds that record. Accounting can stay where it is. Other systems can connect. What moves, and when, is shown before you commit. MFGMAX keeps the job, the inventory, the price, and the balance on one record. Your accountant still closes the books. This is the history of what changed, not an audit opinion.
Mark the week on Problems and Solutions, or read how integrations stay with the platform instead of replacing it.
