AI Copilot
AI Copilot for Manufacturing Owners
Ask what the open work is doing to cost, cash, and the schedule. The copilot reads the batch or job, the formula, the hours, and the lots already in MFGMAX. It can forecast, predict, compare, and advise from that record.
If the hours, the material, or the price were never written down, the copilot cannot invent them. Reliable decisions start with reliable records.

Ask from your records
Questions an owner can ask this week
- Which open jobs are above the estimate?
- What does this formula cost at the yield we actually get?
- Where is cash sitting in lots we cannot ship?
- Which custom order is carrying more cost than the standard one?
How an answer is built
The copilot works from the record you are already running
01
The record is already open
The batch or job, the formula or bill of materials, the lots, the hours, and the cost sit in MFGMAX while the work is running.
02
You ask in plain language
Forecast the week, compare a quote with actual cost, or ask which lots are tying up cash. The copilot reads that record.
03
You keep the decision
The answer is a report and a recommendation. The owner still decides. The accountant still closes the books.
What you can use it for
Forecast, run, and see the money from one record
The same open batch or job supports the questions an owner asks during the week: the schedule, the cost, the cash, and the next quote.
Forecast
See where the week is heading from the open batches, jobs, materials, and hours already on the record.
Predict
If yield, scrap, or hours stay on the current path, see which open work is likely to miss the estimate.
Strategize
Compare the choices on the record: run it, hold it, buy it, or reprice it, while the week can still change.
Automate
Ask a management question again and get it from the same record, without rebuilding the answer in three exports.
Support
Floor, sales, and finance can ask the same question and hear the record the plant is running.
Estimate
Build the next quote from the actual cost of the last similar batch or job.
Compare
Put the estimate next to actual material, labor, scrap, and yield while the work is still open.
Analyze
Ask what moved the result: the material, the hours, the scrap, the price, or a change that was never costed.
Control
See holds, overruns, and open work that need a decision today, while the run can still be corrected.
Speed up the process
Get the batch, the job, and the cost in one answer, while the people who need it are still on the floor.
Advise
Recommendations come from what was recorded. They stay advice. You decide. Your accountant still closes the books.
Cost control
See actual cost above the standard or the estimate before the invoice, on the open batch or job.
Profitability
See what the batch or job earned against what it cost, on the record the plant is running.
Cash flow
See cash tied up in open work, slow inventory, and lots that cannot ship.
Operations
See planned, running, on hold, and done as one picture, so the next step is visible.
Production
See yield, scrap, and the schedule from the open runs, so a short batch shows up before the dock.
Cost on the product
Formula, assembly, and custom work keep their own cost
A quote gets better when the cost stays attached to the thing you are making. The copilot reads that attachment and can show where the next price should move.
Formulations attached to cost
The formula stays on the cost calculation. A change in the recipe, the yield, or an ingredient price changes what the batch costs. The copilot can show that cost while you are still quoting, and again while the batch is open.
Assembly with variable cost
Labor, material, and extra steps stay on the assembly. Variable cost is the work that happened on that unit. A hard assembly carries its hours. A simple one does not hide inside a flat rate.
Custom product cost
A one-off configuration carries its own materials, hours, and price. The special order keeps its own cost, so the next custom quote can start from what that kind of order actually took.

Questions the copilot can answer from each product
Each question is answered from the records in that MFGMAX product. A lot, an hour, or a price that was never written cannot be invented later.

What stays with people
MFGMAX uses AI to provide management reports and recommendations based on the information recorded in the system. The copilot supports the decision. It does not close the books, release a lot, or approve a repair.
Request a DemoWhat does the AI Copilot read?
The records already in MFGMAX: the open batch or job, the formula or materials, the lots and their status, the hours, and the actual cost. Accounting can stay in QuickBooks or in another system you already close.
Can it forecast and predict?
Yes, from the open work. A forecast is the batches and jobs already on the schedule, with the cost and yield recorded so far. A prediction shows which of that work is moving away from the estimate. Both stay tied to records that were written.
How does a formula stay attached to cost?
The formula, the expected yield, and the ingredient cost sit on the same record as the batch. When the recipe or the yield changes, the cost calculation changes with it. The next quote can start from that result.
What about assembly and custom products?
An assembly keeps its own materials and hours, so variable cost follows the unit. A custom configuration keeps its own cost, so a special order is visible next to the standard product before you accept the next one.
